Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ICM-1A53

The infotainment control module (ICM) checks the communication with the multimedia module (MMM).

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ICM-1A53 is stored in the infotainment control module (ICM) if it registers a fault in the communication with the multimedia module (MMM).

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ICM-1A53 can be detected when the ignition is on for at least 20 seconds and the battery voltage is > 11 V.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the multimedia module (MMM)
• No multimedia module (MMM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The navigation buttons on the steering wheel do not function
• No voice message.
