Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

The engine control module (ECM) continuously checks the internal reset function. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-9070 is stored in the engine control module (ECM) in the event of a fault. If this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored the engine control module (ECM) will try to restart (reset) itself.

None.

Possible Source 

• Faulty software in the engine control module (ECM)
• Defective engine control module (ECM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) flashes
• The engine cuts out
• The engine does not start.
