• Start the engine and idle it.
• Disconnect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) from the VIDA station and use it in stand-alone mode.
• Move the gear selector to position N and note the gear position displayed by the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
• Move the gear selector to position D and note the gear position displayed by the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).

  Compare the values in the table to continue fault-tracing.

  • Connect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) to the VIDA station before continuing fault-tracing.
