Faulty signal. Permanent fault: Verification: Verification

HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

• Ignition off.
• Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
• Ignition on.

  Read switch signal.

  Turn the switch to all positions.

  HINT: The light switch sends the status of contacts to the central electronic module (CEM). For an invalid combination at the light switch, "Not permitted" is shown on the read-out.

Does the switch work in all positions? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
