Checking The Power Supply And Ground For The Infotainment Control Module (ICM)
- Ignition off.
Check that the fuses for the infotainment control module (ICM) are intact.
Check the infotainment relay.
HINT: Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored in the central electronic module (CEM) in the event of a fault in the infotainment relay. If diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored for the relay, fault trace accordingly.
Check the cable between the fuse and the infotainment relay. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check the cable between the infotainment relay and the infotainment control module (ICM). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
If necessary, check the function of the power supply relay by moving it to another position.
