Checking The Cable And Component
Disconnect the RTI switch from the audio and radio switch. This is so that the fault can be located.
Read off the status of the buttons in the audio and carphone switch.
If any of the buttons are activated without having been manually activated, the fault is in the RTI switch.
Disconnect the lower switch from the audio and radio switch. This is so that the fault can be located.
Read off the status of the buttons in the audio/carphone switch.
If any of the buttons are activated without having been manually activated, the fault is in the audio and carphone switch.
Disconnect the lower switch from the cruise control switch. This is so that the fault can be located.
Read off the status of the buttons in the audio/carphone switch.
If any of the buttons are activated without having been manually activated the fault is in the cruise control switch or in the cable between the cruise control switch and the radio and carphone switch.
Remedy as necessary.
