Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

The AYC sensor for DSTC consists of a yaw speed sensor, lateral accelerometer, accelerometer (AWD only) and inclination sensor (RSC only). Via its own internal CAN network, the sensors transmit information to the brake control module (BCM) on the size of the yaw angle, vehicle acceleration both laterally and straight ahead as well as lateral inclination.

If the brake control module (BCM) registers an unreasonable signal from one of the sensors, diagnostic trouble code BCM-C006364, BCM-C006164, BCM-C111464 or BCM-C006264 is generated depending on which sensor is involved.

• BCM-C006364: Yaw speed sensor
• BCM-C006164: Lateral acceleration sensor
• BCM-C111464: Inclination sensor
• BCM-C006264: Accelerometer

Substitute Value 

• TC is blocked.
• SC is blocked.
• AYC is blocked.
• RSC is blocked (only vehicles with RSC).

Possible Source 

• Interference or noise on the cables that disrupted AYC sensor calculations.
• The voltage feed to the AYC sensor is too low.
• Defective wheel alignment.
• Internal malfunction in AYC sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• General warning light on.
• Anti-spin is not operational.
• The stability function is not operational.
• The anti-skid function is not operational.
