Condition

If the control module registers that a signal from the internal atmospheric pressure sensor is faulty, the control module interprets this as a fault and ECM-1000 is stored after 20 seconds.

Substitute Value 

The control module assumes 1013 hPa air pressure corresponding to sea level.

Possible Source 

Signal too high: 

• defective control module

Signal too low: 

• defective control module

Fault symptom[s] 

• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
