Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-4E96
Condition
The Phone module (PHM) checks the internal components in the control module.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- An internal fault has occurred.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position 0, I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.
- Telephone handset used.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
