The central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the light switch module (LSM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives information from the light switch module (LSM) indicating that it has detected that the switch for opening the fuel tank filler cover has been activated for more than 60 seconds.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at ignition switch position II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Damaged switch for opening the fuel tank filler cover
• Fault in the communication with the light switch module (LSM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Does not lock / unlock the fuel tank filler cap.
