Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SWM-0016 is stored if the microprocessor or steering wheel module (SWM) registers that the CRUISE switch on the cruise control function is activated for more than 1 minute.

Substitute Value 

The cruise control is deactivated for the rest of the journey.

Possible Source 

• The CRUISE switch on the cruise control function is activated for more than 1 minute.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Cruise control does not function at all.
