Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CRM-1011

Condition 

If Convertible Roof Module (CRM) detects that the function button for roof operation is activated for longer than one minute, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions 0, I, II and III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Accidentally long activation of the function button.
• Control button not working.
• The cable between the control button and Convertible Roof Module (CRM) is short-circuited to ground.
• Internal error in Convertible Roof Module (CRM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Lockable storage doesn't work
• Push button does not work
• Message in information display
