Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is generated when the signal cable between the position sensor and Convertible Roof Module (CRM) is short-circuited to ground.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions 0, I, II and III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the cable.
• Open-circuit in the signal cable to the front / rear position sensor.
• Position sensor not working.
• Incorrect installation of position sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• None or limited roof maneuvering
