The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal is too high or there is an open-circuit in the signal cable for alarm output S1.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on and alarm output S1 is not activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in signal cable alarm output S1
• Open-circuit in signal cable alarm output S1
• Damaged alarm.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The alarm does not function at all.
