Checking The Cable
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the connector for the left-hand subwoofer behind the rear seat.
- Disconnect the 16-pin connector for the Subwoofer module (SUB).
Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between the Subwoofer module (SUB) terminal #B3 and left-hand bass speaker terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the signal cable between the Subwoofer module (SUB) terminal #B9 and left-hand bass speaker terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
