Checking The Component And Wiring

Fig 1: Identifying Ignition OFF

Ignition off
Disconnect connector A from the phone module (PHM).
Check the cables for lighting the switch at control module connector A. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check between:
- terminals #3 (#3) and #13 (#13)
- terminals #3 (#3) and #14 (#14)
- terminals #3 (#3) and #6 (#6)
- terminals #4 (#4) and #13 (#13)
- terminals #4 (#4) and #14 (#14)A
- terminals #4 (#4) and #6 (#6).
Try replacing the switch if the cables are OK.

Remedy as necessary.
