Checking The Component And Wiring

Check that the fuel pump (FP) relay is correctly installed.

Also check the fuel pump relay, in particular terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

If no fault was found on the fuel pump relay and replacing the relay did not help, try replacing the central control module (CEM).

Remedy as necessary.
