Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-3A08

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the voltage in the supply cable to the fuel pump (FP).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal at the relay output is too high.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the power cable to the fuel pump (FP)
• The fuel pump (FP) relay is defective.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The fuel pump (FP) operates continuously
• Noise from the fuel pump (FP).
