Checking The Component And Wiring

Check control module connector A for the microphone signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check between:

• terminals #19 (#19) and #18 (#18)
• terminals #19 (#19) and #6 (#6).

Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

Remedy as necessary.
