Condition

The infotainment control module (ICM) checks the communication with the media player module (MPM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the infotainment control module (ICM) registers a fault in the communication with the media player module (MPM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed with the ignition on and the battery voltage above 11 V.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the media player module (MPM)
• The media player module (MPM) missing.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The media player does not function.
