Condition

The global positioning system module (GPS) continuously monitors the signal from the GPS antenna.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the global positioning system module (GPS) registers that the signal in the wiring from the GPS antenna is too high.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the global positioning system module (GPS) is activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the wiring between the GPS antenna and the global positioning system module (GPS).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The position of the car on the map is incorrect.
