Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Sub-0003

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers an open-circuit in the signal cable for the voice coil in the bass speaker.

The diagnostic trouble code can only be diagnosed when voltage is on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is turned from position 0 to positions II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil in the bass loudspeaker.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from subwoofer
