Signal Specification, Keyless Vehicle Module (KVM)

General 

All values given below are between the terminals stated in column 1 and terminal #B4 (power ground). This applies unless otherwise indicated in brackets.

NOTE:

It is important to connect the breakout box and check the ground terminals before taking readings.

U= DC voltage in volts (V)    
Ubat = Battery voltage (V)    
Ulow = Voltage approximately 0 V

Located under the carpet in front of the center panel. Only active when searching for keys. Otherwise 0 V.

For the S40 and V50: Placed in the outer door handle in the left-hand rear door.
