Checking The Status

• Ignition on.

  Check the signal from the clutch pedal sensor.

  Click on the VCT2000 (Volvo Scan Tool) symbol to read off the voltage level.

  Slowly depress and release the clutch. Note the change in the signal level.

  The voltage level in the clutch pedal sensor must be between 0.15 and 4.75 volts.

  HINT: If the signal from the clutch pedal sensor indicates <0.15 volts, there is either an open-circuit in the cable or the clutch pedal sensor is defective.

Does the value change? 

• YES

• NO
