Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks that the car configuration file has the correct number of parameters.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Central electronic module (CEM) registers that the vehicle's configuration file does not specify an alternator type.

Substitute Value 

• The control module assumes that a standard 120 A PWM alternator is fitted.

Possible Source 

• The vehicle's configuration is incorrect.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Battery discharges
