Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CPM-8704

Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the combustion preheater module (CPM) registers an internal fault. The heater cannot be activated until the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been erased.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Poor heating in the passenger compartment
• The parking heater does not operate.
