Checking the control module

• Ignition off
• Disconnect the breakout box
• Connect the control module.
• Test drive the car. See Test Drive Form (ABS), description
• Ignition on.

  Read off the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

Is the status INTERMITTENT? 

• YES 

  Refer to Checking for contact resistance and oxidation 

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the ABS control module
