Diagnostic trouble code information
Condition
NOTE:
This diagnostic trouble code applies only to ABS systems equipped with DSTC.
The steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit is initiated by turning the steering wheel in any direction within 120 seconds after the car has been started. The control unit transmits signals from the steering wheel angle sensor on the CAN network which the ABS control unit then receives. If the ABS control unit registers that the steering wheel angle sensor control unit has not been initiated within 120 seconds after start-up, diagnostic trouble code ABS-00B4 is set.

- Anti-spin function blocked.
- Stabilizing function blocked.
Possible Source
- Disturbances in CAN.
- Internal fault in the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit.
