NOTE:

This diagnostic trouble code applies only to ABS systems equipped with DSTC.

The control unit for the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) transmits the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor on the CAN net which the ABS control unit then receives. If the ABS control unit does not detect the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor, diagnostic trouble code ABS-00B6 is stored.

Anti-spin function blocked.
Stabilizing function blocked.

Possible Source

Disturbances in CAN.
Internal fault in control unit for the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS).

Fault symptom[s]

Anti-spin does not work.
Stabilizing function not working.
Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
