The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal is too low or there is an open-circuit in the signal cable for alarm output P0.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is on and alarm output P0 is not activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable for alarm output P0
• Open-circuit in the signal cable for alarm output P0
• Damaged alarm.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The alarm does not function at all.
