Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CEM-1A03 is stored if the control module registers an open-circuit or a short-circuit to ground in the S-supply.

Substitute Value 

None

Possible Source 

• Contact resistance in terminals.
• Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground in S-supply.
• The key is not recognized.
• Defective ignition switch.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The starter motor does not turn.
