Condition 

If voltage supply to the control unit exceeds 16 V diagnostic trouble code CEM-5F47 will be set.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Defective alternator.
• Battery charger or starter unit connected with faulty incorrect charge voltage.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Poor interior heating.
