Checking Direction Indicator Shunt

• Ignition off.

  Check that the shunt for the left/right direction indicator is fitted correctly.

  At the same time check the connection:

  Diagnostic trouble code CEM-8F02 

  in particular 20/32 3

  Diagnostic trouble code CEM-8F03 

  in particular 20/34 3

  for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults or an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults .

  Additional information: 

  • To replace shunt see Central electronic module (CEM), replacing .
