Checking the signal from the switch in the front door
- Ignition on
- Read off the status from the control switch in both front doors (indicates whether the doors are open or closed).
Open and close the left and right-hand front door. The status for each door must change when the door is opened/closed.
The fault is permanent if the status does not change.
If the status changes, this indicates an intermittent fault, i. e. the fault was present previously but is not active at the moment.
