Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

The rear electronic module checks the signal from the Xenon lamp position sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-8F11 is stored in the rear electrical module if the rear electrical module registers too high a signal from the Xenon lamp position sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-8F11 can be detected at ignition on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
• Open-circuit in the signal cable
• The position sensor for the Xenon lamp is incorrectly installed.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The road surface is not illuminated.
