Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information REM-9F21

Condition

The rear electronic module (REM) powers the cargo compartment lighting directly via an output.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the rear electronic module (REM) registers that the signal at the output is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key position II.

Substitute Value 

• If the fault has been detected in 100 ignition cycles, the output is closed permanently until the diagnostic trouble code is erased (applies from structure week 200539).

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The cargo compartment lighting does not function.
