Intermittent fault

Check the connector between the sun roof module (SRM) and sun roof motor. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections.

Check connector 54/13. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections.

Check the cable between sun roof module (SRM) terminal #10A and ground, left A-post. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.

Check the cable between the sun roof module (SRM) terminal #1A and fuse 11C/7 in the passenger compartment fuse box for a short-circuit to ground or an intermittent open-circuit.

After carrying out repairs, the sun roof module (SRM) should be calibrated. See Calibrating the sun roof module (SRM) .
