Replacing the Control Module And Programming

Ignition off.
Identity number for hardware does not correspond to the installed software. Replace the upper electronic module (UEM), check that new hardware has the correct P/N.

NOTE: If possible, read off the programmed data from the control module before it is replaced. This should be done as this information is not stored in Volvo's central database. Switch off the ignition before replacing the control module.
