Checking the Remote Receiver

The remote receiver is located in the inner rear view mirror, and receives signals from both the remote control and the tire pressure sensors. The function of the remote receiver can be checked using the remote control.

Check that the remote receiver works by pressing the lock and unlock button on the remote control. The vehicle should be locked and unlocked.

Does the remote control and remote receiver work? 

• YES 

  Refer to Checking Tire Pressure Sensors 

• NO 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
