Downloading Software

Download new software. See Interior Lighting And Upper Electronic Module (UEM), Replacing .

Do not replace the control module.

HINT: If diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-E001 is stored, communication with the control module cannot be established. This can be remedied in two ways. 

1. Press the remote control button for local lighting.
2. Remove fuse 11C/28 from the fusebox in the passenger compartment. Reinstall the fuse again.
