Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AEM-4F60 is stored if the control module registers that the signal is too low on the power supply for the back-up (reversing) warning system.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is on and the back-up (reversing) warning system is activated, i. e. back-up (reverse) gear is selected.

Substitute Value 

• The back-up (reversing) warning system is switched off until the next time the ignition is switched on.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable for the back-up (reversing) warning system
• Defective back-up (reversing) warning system.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The back-up (reversing) warning system does not function.
