The Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) is located in the lever module together with the steering wheel module (SWM) and is supplied with power by it.

Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) contains two processors which work together. The processors receive information about steering wheel angle, steering direction and steering angle speed from the steering wheel sensor and compare the information with each other. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if one processor registers that other processor requests information more often than expected.

Substitute Value 

• The stability function is blocked.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
• General warning lamp lit.
• The stability control system does not function.
