Checking the Control Module
NOTE:
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0262 may be stored if the Suspension Module (SUM) has previously been installed in another car.
Was the Suspension Module (SUM) previously installed in another car?
- YES
Refer to Checking the Control Module
- NO
Refer to Downloading Software
- Check that the P/N of the control module corresponds to the number in the replacement parts catalogue. If the P/N does not match the replacement parts catalogue, replace the control module. Download new software into the control module if the P/N matches the replacement parts catalogue. Select Pause. Save this as a bookmark and cancel the fault-tracing. Then go to the software manager and download the correct software. Then resume the fault-tracing.
- Select an option:
- Incorrect control module P/N. OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.
- New software downloaded. Refer to Reading Off Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) .
NOTE: After downloading the software, the Suspension Module (SUM) must be calibrated according to VIDA vehicle communication.
