Checking the accessory electronic module (AEM)

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off
• Reconnect the connectors. Reinstall the components
• Ignition on for at least 10 seconds.

  Read off the control module ID from the accessory electronic module (AEM) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

Could the control module ID be read off? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
