Checking wiring and components

Check the resistance of the outside temperature sensor. Compare with table in link below.

Check the signal cable between control module connector #B29 (#B41) and outside temperature sensor terminal 1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults

HINT: With the ignition on and outside temperate sensor connector disconnected the voltage between terminal 1 and ground terminal should be approximately 5 V. 

Remedy as necessary.
