Checking wiring and sensors
- Ignition off.
Check the transmission connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check the power supply cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A59 (#A59) and transmission connector terminal #A2. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
Check the signal cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A41 (#A41) and transmission connector terminal #A1. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
HINT: With the control module connected, the ignition on and a voltmeter connected between transmission connector terminals #A2 and #A1 (control module side), the voltage must be 1-3 V below Ubat.
Remedy as necessary.
