Diagnostic trouble code information
Condition
Solenoids are controlled by output stages in the transmission control unit (TCM). The control unit opens the output stages when the solenoids should be activated, and voltage is supplied to the circuit. If the control unit registers that there is an internal fault in the output stage circuit for solenoid S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, SLU, SLT or SLS diagnostic trouble code TCM-0060, TCM-0120, TCM-0121, TCM-0122, TCM-0123 or TCM-0124 will be stored depending on the output stage.

Fault symptom[s]
- Orange general warning lamp is on.
- Malfunction indicator light (MIL) is on.
- Lock up function not working.
- Rough gear shifts.
- Gear shifts not working.
- Rough gear shifts can be caused by:
- No reduction of system pressure during gear shifts
- No request for torque limitation to the engine control unit during gear shifts
HINT: Gear shift failure is caused by the transmission control unit interrupting all solenoid activation.
