Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

After the ignition has been switch off, the engine control module (ECM) carries out internal checks. When the checks are complete, after approximately 2 minutes, the engine control module (ECM) interrupts the activation of the system relay coil. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-820A is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the system relay is active when the engine control module (ECM) has interrupted the activation of the system relay coil.

Faulty signal: 

• short-circuit to ground in signal cable
• defective system relay
• short-circuit to supply voltage in the power cable.
