The Phone module (PHM) checks the internal components in the control module.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• An internal fault has occurred.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Ignition position 0, I and II.
• Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.
• Telephone handset used.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the control module.

• Cellular phone/Handsfree does not work
• Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Privacy handset
• Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Unsure when/at all times
