The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers an open-circuit in the signal cable for voice coil 1 in the bass speaker.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is turned from position 0 to positions II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil 1 in the bass loudspeaker.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from the loudspeakers
• Muted/muffled sound from the loudspeaker.
